How to Win the Jewel of Jahari (Cupped Challenge)
During Chapter 4: The Past Never Dies, you'll be tasked with obtaining $100,000 in order to get a seat in Bawma's auction. Earning the funds for the auction can be tricky, but thankfully the Aleph's Black Market Bazaar is crawling with opportunities... even if they're rather questionable.
One way to earn a substantial chunk of the auction fee is to obtain and sell the Jewel of Jahari, a prize you'll win if you guess the correct cup in Aadan's cup game. So, here's everything you need to know about always beating Aadan's cup game and winning the Jewel of Jahari in 007 First Light. Winning the cup game is also tied to the Cupped Challenge.
How to Always Win the Jewel of Jahari (Cupped Challenge)
- Jewel of Jahari Cup Solution: Tap to Reveal
First things first, in order to obtain the Jewel of Jahari, you must pay Aadan's $3,500 buy in fee.
If you don't have the cash for the fee, look around Aleph's Black Market Bazaar for guards carrying Cash Bundles that you can pickpocket. The bundles of cash will be highlighted yellow when using your Q-Lens, so they're fairly hard to miss.
Once you've paid the fee, watch as Aadan places the Jewel of Jahari beneath one of the cups and begins to shuffle them. Instead of following which cup Aadan placed the jewel under, there's a way to always guarantee a win.
To do this, wait until Aadan has finished shuffling the cups and then when he asks you for your answer, use your Q-Lens (L1/LB/Alt). This will reveal the exact cup that the Jewel of Jahari is hiding under, which just so happens to be the middle cup.
Despite Aadan's claims of you cheating, the guards will ensure you receive the Jewel of Jahari. Winning the cup game will complete the Cupped Challenge.
Now that you have receive the Jewel of Jahari, turn around and follow the waypoint marker to a nearby pawn shop.
When speaking with Nirmala, the owner, reveal that you have "The red jewel" and she'll buy it off you for $30,000 - adding a substantial chunk of cash towards your target.
